Most people have heard of elevators and
commercial
stair lifts that are commonly used in malls and
super stores to enable persons with disabilities, but what they do not know
is that even
they can install the stair lift
in their homes. They do
not seem awkward and do not take up much space making
it to install even the most difficult and narrow stair cases.
There are different types of residential
stair lifts, and their selection depends on the
needs of consumers and the
available space in which they
must be installed.
Some stair lifts consist of a simple platform with support to
carry people up and down in a standing
position, and are useful for
people who have painful
joints or not to bend the
knee, and climbing up and down the
stairs.
